Hockey club loses to Michigan-Dearborn

The Kent State Hockey Club wasn’t able to shut down the offense against Michigan-Dearborn, ending the game with a 5-0 loss.

 

The game started slow with Michigan-Dearborn scoring only one goal in the first period. The Flashes lost their drive in the third period when they were unable to defend their goal, allowing the Wolverines to score four times to end the game.

 

Michigan-Dearborn had 39 attempted shots while Kent State only had 29. Neither team was successful in power plays, with UM-Dearborn going 0-2 and Kent State 0-1.

 

The Flashes will play Niagara University Friday and Mercyhurst University Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the KSU Ice Arena.
