Brimfield’s former police chief, David Oliver, was found guilty Monday afternoon in a Portage County Common Pleas Court. The Facebook famous Oliver pleaded no contest to four misdemeanors, including: attempted theft, simple assault, unlawful restraint and unauthorized use of property.

Oliver was given probation and must make restitution. He resigned in 2014.

Former coworker Officer Crystal Casterline is currently suing Oliver in Stark County Common Pleas Court. According to Ohio.com reports, Casterline said he previously cornered and pushed her up against a wall, forced her to dance with him and sent her inappropriate text messages. Casterline said she expressed her discomfort on multiple situations but Oliver took no heed.

In addition to the four misdemeanors, Oliver is accused of stealing more than $1,300 in charity funds and illegal silent auctions of firearms.
