Speaker to address threats to freedom at KIVA Saturday

Kent State plans to hold a speech from Richard Stallman addressing the threats to freedom in a digital society at the Kiva Saturday from 1-3 p.m.
Stallman is a software freedom activist and the main author of the GNU General Public License, the most widely used free software license.
The event is free and open to the public. Stallman will hold a Q&A session afterwards, where attendees can purchase his books and essays.
The Northeast Alliance for Community Media (ACM) and the ACM Distinguished Speaker Program partnered with the Kent State Computer Science department to have the speech.
