The Mid-American Conference named Kent State senior Kelly Hutchison the East Division Offensive Player of the Week.
Hutchison played a commanding three-game stretch, leading the Flashes in kills in two out of the three games, on her way to being named the MVP of the Golden Flash Classic.
She led the team in total kills (69) over the three games played—including a career-high 32 kills against the University at Albany—while averaging 4.93 kills per set.
The Golden Flashes travel to Madison, Wisconsin Thursday, to play Georgetown University.
