Latino Networking Caucus encourages attendance at conference
April 22, 2015
The Latino Networking Caucus (LNC) is looking for Hispanic or Latino students who are graduating in 2015 to attend the LNC’s fifth annual Hablemos Conference.
These students will be recognized for their accomplishments, academic achievement and contributions to the university on Friday, May 1, at 9:30 a.m. in the ballroom balcony of the Student Center.
During the fifth annual Hablemos “Let’s Talk” Conference, students will have the opportunity to network with Latino leaders, listen to a series of motivational speakers and also enjoy a free luncheon.
Yvette Mendoza, administrative assistant for the Center for Student Involvement, will need any Hispanic or Latino graduates who would like to attend to contact her by Friday, April 24.
She asks that these students send their full name, degree they are receiving, school they are receiving it from, current GPA and if they are graduating with honors.
Students should contact Mendoza at [email protected] or 330-672-8801 with their information.
Reservations must be sent to the Latino Caucus Network at [email protected]. Reservations will be accepted until April 28.
