UPDATE: “My Heart is the Drum” debut delayed due to weather
The cast of “My Heart is the Drum” rehearses in E. Turner Stump Theatre on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. The production will run on weekends starting Feb. 20 and run until March 1.

Kent State’s School of Theater and Dance has cancelled its premiere of its spring musical “My Heart is the Drum.”
The school posted on Twitter around 4 p.m. Thursday after the university had cancelled all activities and classes Thursday night and all day Friday due to the harsh weather conditions.
The school’s post said its Performing Arts Box Office will contact ticket holders for Friday night’s performance to reschedule their tickets for another performance.
