Wondering what to do this Valentine’s Day in Kent?

Are you stuck inside on this Valentine’s Day without anything to do? TV2 reporter Taylor Pierce has a list of all there is do to on and around campus today!
Here’s her list:
1. Downtown Kent Chocolate walk. Beginning at noon in downtown Kent, on Saturday February 14th. Exploring downtown Kent and sampling chocolate. Raffle Drawing at 4 pm.
2. “My Furry Valentine” Discounted pet adoption in Portage County at the Portage Animal Protective League. On February 13th and 14th. From 11 am to 4 pm Friday, and 11 am to 3 pm Saturday.
3. Family Valentines Day party for Those Touched by Cancer. Friday February 13th in Akron at Stewart’s Caring Place. Starting at 5:30 pm.
4. “Vendors for Valentines Day” hosted Friday at Southeast Elementary School, in Ravenna starting at 5 pm. Vendor and craft show.
5. Valentines Day Dance on Saturday February 14th at Simpson United Methodist Church in Canton. The dance is for singles, $8 and begins at 7:00 pm.
6. Valentines Get Away at the Holiday Inn in Akron West. Friday and Saturday specials for the Valentines weekend. Going all all weekend, various packages available.
7. Valentines Story Hour with Hot Pots. For $10 children can hear stories and create ceramic plates. starting at 11 am Saturday morning at Rodman Library Branch in Alliance.
8. Share The Love Cut-a-thon hosted by the Laus Deo Salon in Twinsburg. Starting at 4 pm on Friday, people can visit the salon for discounted hair cuts. 100% of all proceeds will be donated to benefit the Hattie Larlham Foundation.
9. Teen Un-Valentines Day Party. On Friday beginning at 3 pm. Activities for those opposed to Valentines day. At Rodman Public Library in Alliance.
10. Free Valentines Day art workshop. Starting at 3 pm Saturday, kids can craft and paint pictures. Class is one hour long, and you must be registered in advance to go. Located at Peninsula Arts Academy in Peninsula Ohio.
