Kent State redshirt senior guard Derek Jackson gets up above a Miami defender to shoot for three in the M.A.C. Center on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015. Jacksons 11 points helped The Flashes edge above Redhawks to win 61-60, scoring in the dying seconds of the game. The win brings their record to 16-7 overall, (7-3 MAC) ,and puts them in a first-place tie with arch-rivals Akron University in the MAC East Division with matching overall and conference records.
