Wick Poetry Center poetry reading by Maj Ragain
November 11, 2014
Maj Ragain will be reading in the Wick Poetry Center’s poetry reading series Nov. 12 in Room 306 of the student center at 7:30 p.m.
“Maj Ragain has taught at Kent State for over forty years,” said Jessica Jewell, the program manager of the Wick Poetry Center. “He is one of the most cherished and respected poetry professors at the university.”
Ragain is a longtime friend and collaborator to the Wick Poetry Center and is also the leader of the veterans’ writing circle, said Jewell.
“We’re so happy to be able to be able to host this reading for Maj,” said Jewell. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for students and community members to hear a very special poet.”
