Kent State University’s Marine Conservation Club will be having a fundraiser Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of the M.A.C. Center.

“We are hoping to raise funds to get the club started,” said Karli Hollister, co-founder and president of the club. “We are also hoping to begin to save money that we can donate to national environmental organizations in the future.”

Students can win gift certificates and coupons for businesses in the Kent area by donating $1 to play a game at the fundraiser.
