Meet KSU’s 2014 Homecoming Candidates

Being a part of the Kent State Homecoming Court is an honor and an opportunity to represent the university. Students who have the qualifications to be a member on Homecoming Court are very involved on campus and demonstrate the most Kent State pride. The 2014 homecoming King and Queen will be announced on the field at Dix Stadium during halftime of the homecoming game, where the Golden Flashes will take on the Army Black Knights of The United States Military Academy at West Point. The opportunity to apply for Homecoming Court is offered to every Kent State student with 90 or more credit hours. The student must have a GPA of more than a 2.75 and be in good academic standing with the university. The Center for Student Involvement’s homecoming committee selects six men and six women to represent the university who have contributed to the university through their organizations and leadership. Voting begins on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 12 a.m. and closes Oct. 17 at noon. A link can be found on FlashLine where students can cast their votes for king and queen.
