The Kent State field hockey team traveled to Vermont this weekend looking for its first win of the season.
Not only did the Flashes win their first game against Siena College 6-0, they also won their second straight game against the University of Vermont 4-3.

The team played again on Saturday in a back-and-forth game against Vermont. Senior Julia Hoffman had two goals and an assist that put Kent State in the lead.
Senior Hannah Faulkner and sophomore Madison Thompson also contributed to the win. Thompson’s goal in the 65th minute was the deciding factor that helped the Golden Flashes to (2-2) on the season.
