Jodi Picoult to appear at KSU Stark

Best-selling author’s Jodi Picoult will be a featured speaker at Kent State Stark’s 23rd season of Featured Speakers on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Timken Great Hall in The University Center at KSU Stark. Picoult will be presenting her own presentation, “The Facts Behind the Fiction.”

Picoult, the author of 21 novels, has been writing from a young age. Two of her short stories were published in Seventeen magazine as a college student at Princeton University. She is the recipient of numerous international awards and 14 million copies of her books are printed worldwide. Her novel “My Sister’s Keeper” was made into a major motion picture featuring Cameron Diaz, and four of her other novels have been turned into television movies as well. The last seven of her novels have debuted in the No. 1 slot on the New York Times Bestseller List, including her most recent work, “The Storyteller.”
