Service Club seeks children’s books for Reach Out and Read program
April 25, 2013
Kent State’s Honors Service Club is encouraging students to donate new or gently used children’s books to the Reach Out and Read program until Friday.
Judy Yasenosky, administrative secretary in the Honors College, said collection bins are located in each residence hall on campus. She said students can drop off books until Friday afternoon.
Any students who live on campus who have submitted books will earn points for their residence hall’s floor. Yasenosky said the floor with the most points will win a free pizza party, sponsored by the Kent Honors Service Club.
KHSC requests books without violence, religion or anything having to do with the body. For more information, contact Mallory Sajewski, graduate appointee in the Honors College, at [email protected].
