KSU celebrates commuter appreciation week
April 3, 2013
Off-Campus and Commuter Services hosts “Commuter Appreciation Week” next week Monday through Thursday. The week’s events will take place in the NEST on the second floor of the Student Center.
Rebecca Kapler, commuter services coordinator, said the following are the group’s plans for the week:
- 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday — “Breakfast in the NEST”
- 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday — “Lunch in the NEST”
- 3 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday — “Commuter Give-Away”
- 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday — “Relaxation Station” with free back massages from the Organization of Athletic Training students.
Kapler said the week’s events will be open to all students, but will focus primarily on commuter students.
“We’ve been doing this the past two semesters,” said Kapler. “It gives students a chance to get free things and realize the university cares about them.”
