Denver authorities are searching for suspects after a shooting during a massive 4/20 marijuana celebration on Saturday. The shooting left two people injured and possibly a third, according to Denver media. Thousands of people attended the celebration, which was the first since Colorado legalized marijuana. Police said they are currently looking for two suspects and the motive is unknown.

The United States military said more than half of the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay are on a hunger strike. The prison’s current population is 166 and about 84 people are striking. Army Lt. Col. Samuel House said 16 of the 84 are being force-fed and five have been hospitalized. The strike gained popularity a week after a clash between guards and prisoners. It started in February in protest of the conditions and indefinite confinement. Most of the men at Guantanamo are being held without charge.

Insurgents killed six police officers at a checkpoint and a suicide bomber killed three civilians at a shopping bazaar in two separate attacks Sunday in Afghanistan. An independent security group said 2013 is on track to be one of the most violent years of the war. According to an Associated Press tally, at least 222 people have been killed in the Middle Eastern nation this month alone.

Tom Cruise’s newest film “Oblivion” let the box office with a $38.2 million debut, according to studio estimates Sunday. Overseas, the film also earned an additional $33.7 million when it opened a week earlier. The previous weekend’s top movie was the Warner Bros. baseball drama, “42.” The Jackie Robinson biopic brought in a domestic total of $54.1 million so far.
