PRIDE! Kent is hosting a social with the 2013-2014 executive board at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Governance Chambers of the Kent State Student Center.

The event will include activities intended to encourage attendees to voice their opinions on what they’d like to accomplish as a group in the upcoming year.

Justin Lagore, senior public relations major and current president of PRIDE! Kent, said that a main goal of the event is to get the students better acquainted with the new executive board.

“Our hope is that, by having this kind of social meeting, our members can become more comfortable with their new leaders,” he said. “That way, they will feel more comfortable approaching them in the coming year with any questions or concerns.”
