Local newspaper editor to speak Bowman Breakfast

Roger DiPaolo, editor for the Record Courier, will discuss “Beyond Audacity: Celebrating 21st Century Kent” at Kent State’s Bowman Breakfast Tuesday, April 16 at 8 a.m.
DiPaolo is a Kent State alumnus, who has worked for the Record Courier since 1991, according to a Kent State press release.
This spring 2013 Bowman Breakfast will mark DiPaolo’s third appearance as the featured speaker. He spoke at both the 2010 and 2012 breakfasts.
Doors for the event will open at 7 a.m. and breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m.
If not pre-registered, it will cost attendees $9 at the door. Payments can be made by cash or check, but invoicing is not available, according to the press release. Those who registered but did not attend the breakfast will be billed.
Sponsored by Kent State and the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bowman Breakfast has been a tradition since 1963.
