S.A.L.S.A. to host info forum
March 5, 2013
The Spanish and Latino Student Association is hosting a forum Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in room 315 of the Kent State Student Center.
The executive board of S.A.L.S.A. extends the invitation to all students interested in the organization. Attendees will have the opportunity to voice their thoughts, ideas and concerns.
Jinre Holman, sophomore pre-accounting major and president of S.A.L.S.A., said that the group is aiming to increase attendance and get students more involved.
“The best way to serve a whole population on campus is by providing them with cultural programming and social events that they want to do,” Holman said. “We also hope by having this forum right before next week when we have our week entitled ‘Spice Up Your Life’ [that] we can have better attendance at this program, and the students can be more involved.”
