Summer passes available April 29
March 12, 2013
Parking passes for summer 2013 go on sale April 29 for graduate students only and to all other students on May 1.
Graduates will be able to purchase R-Lot passes; undergraduates will be able to purchase C-Lot and S-Lot passes.
“Based on the last couple summers,” said Larry Emling, head of parking services, “we’ve had plenty of lots and plenty of room because of the increase in online classes in the summer.”
Emling said all parking passes for summer will cost $40, and after summer intersession I, students may return passes for a $20 rebate.
“As soon as summer intercession I ends, students have about a week after to return their pass [for a rebate],” Emling said. “If they wait beyond that point, they’re going to start prorating down and by Aug. 1, students won’t get anything back for their summer parking pass.”
Emling said an email would be sent to students the week of April 29, and a link will be included in the email.
