February 22, 2013
Kent State University’s Recreation and Wellness Center is allowing free access to the facility for faculty and staff Friday in honor of National Recreational Sports and Fitness Day.
In addition to free admission, yoga, spinning and Pilates classes will also be free.
The Kent State Ice Arena will offer public skating from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., for $4.50 to skate and $2.50 for skate rental for faculty, staff and alumni.
The National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association founded National Recreational Sports and Fitness Day in 1999, and it is an annual celebration.
