Senior Kent State Varsity Football player C.J Steward is facing criminal charges tonight. He is charged with assaulting co-worker Morgan Lepore at Province Apartments last week. As well as criminal damaging. Steward is a linebacker but did not play last season due to injuries and is the second Kent State football player this month to be suspended indefinitely. Freshman Julian Durden was charged with having stolen property and cited with possession of marijuana.
