Students charged with burglary and aggravated riot

Five Kent State students are facing burglary and aggravated riot charges after an altercation escalated Saturday at 126 University Dr., according to Kent city police.
Among the five students involved, two are freshmen: SeVaughn L. Knight, technology major, and Austin S. Wilson, architectural studies major. Two are
sophomores: David D. Coleman, criminology and justice studies major, and Dontell E. Higgins, education studies program major. The fifth student, Kwan L. Bailey, junior criminology and justice studies major, is also on the wrestling team.
There were three victims and two witnesses to the crimes, though no one was seriously injured.
The scheduled preliminary hearing for the students is Dec. 7.
