Photos: 48 Hours in Kent
November 16, 2012
“Ready. Set. Shoot!”
That’s what Daily Kent Stater photographers heard last week from their editor. They were told that within 48 hours on Nov. 8 and 9, they had to photograph someone interesting in the Kent community. So they set forth discovering compelling individuals that make Kent, Ohio, an interesting place to live.
They came back with many stories; one was about a Chinese immigrant who works as a campus porter but never gave up his passion for music. Another photographer told a story about a teacher who is an inspir- ing role model at Stanton Middle School, and others brought back similarly great local tales.
We hope that you enjoy reading the stories as much as we enjoyed covering them.
