Kent State’s faculty union, the American Association of University Professors, voted to ratify its proposed contract Thursday, with a 93 percent majority in favor of the new agreement. The Board of Trustees now has to ratify the contract for it to become final. Tenure-track faculty members in AAUP have been working without a contract for a year.
