The Hillel at Kent State University, along with Undergraduate Student Government Programming, is sponsoring tonight’s comedy night in the Rathskeller. Special guest of the evening will be comedian Steve Hofstetter.

According to Hofstetter’s webpage, The Queens Tribune said:

“His sterling academic credentials…combined with his propensity for provoking intelligent laughs, has earned Hofstetter the title of ‘The Thinking Man’s Comic.’”

Hofstetter, who is also an author and columnist, has made appearances on TV shows including “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and Showtime’s “White Boyz in the Hood.” Hofstetter wrote for Sports Illustrated, NHL and Collegehumor.com.

The show starts at 8 p.m. and is free for students.
