Former Beatle Paul McCartney married Nancy Shevell, an American heiress, Sunday in London. This marks the third marraige for McCartney, who wed Heather Mills in 2002 and Linda Eastman in 1969. The intimate ceremony was held on the same day as John Lennon’s birthday and featured a dress made by Stella McCartney, Paul’s designer daughter.

Singer-songwriter Adele announced last week she has a hemmorage on her vocal chord, which prompted her to reschedule her U.S. tour. The 23-year-old Brit said she will use the time off to rest her voice because she had never had the opportunity to recover from a stint of laryngitis earlier this year.

Amy Winehouse’s father recently signed a deal to write a book about his daughter’s life. Titled “Amy, My Daughter,” the book will be released in the summer of 2012, and all proceeds will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Singer Rihanna was named Esquire magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive Tuesday, although she claims she is not aware of her sexuality.
