“America’s Got Talent” contestants to perform at The Kent Stage
October 6, 2011
Three contestants from NBC’s hit show “America’s Got Talent” are performing at The Kent Stage 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Charles Peachock, Daniel Joseph Baker and James McGraw are teaming up to put on a tour called Americans With Talent, said Brad Powell, Kent Stage consultant.
All three contestants feature a different and unique talent.
Peachock, who is from Kent, is a two-time gold medalist and world champion juggler. He mixes comedy and juggling into a variety show and can also play a piano using only tennis balls to hit the keys.
Baker sings to entertain the crowd. On America’s Got Talent, Baker covered popular hits such as Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.”
McGraw, member of the Yellow Design Stunt Team, will feature BMX freestyle tricks.
The show will be followed with a ‘meet and greet’ for the audience to meet the talents and take pictures. There is also an afterparty for ticket holders on the second floor of the Zephyr, Powell said.
Tickets can be bought at the door of The Kent Stage on 175 East Main St. and range from $25.50 to $35.50. The event is open to all ages.
