Although there has been a decrease in thefts and robberies from last year, a recent attempted break-in has not frightened Kent State students. Not only has enrollment increased but so have our security services. With more security officers, escorts and Flash Alerts, students are feeling confident about their personal safety. Students can sign up for Flash Alerts and find the phone number for escort services on the university website. Security escorts are also available from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.
