The Kent State University Museum launched an online catalog at the beginning of this summer. The catalog allows people to look up any item the museum owns and get information about it.

The information includes images and informational data about each object and its background. One of the major projects following the website’s launch was properly naming, filing and attaching the innumerable digital images to their appropriate catalog records.

The museum will continue to add images to the catalog and update catalog records to reflect research on the objects. Curator Sara Hume said any feedback regarding the online collection is welcome.
