The westbound lane on Summit Street—from Lincoln Street to Morris Road— will be closed Thursday, July 28 to allow underground utility work. The same lane will be closed to through traffic Friday, July 29, and traffic delays are expected.

The utility work will take place on Summit Street between Terrace Drive and Morris Road. Local traffic, however, will have access to Terrace Drive.

Detour signs will be posted to help direct traffic. Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and to allow for additional travel time when leaving for their destinations.
