The Kent State men’s golf team will travel to Columbus this weekend for the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate Tournament.

The Flashes finished sixth out of 11 teams last weekend at the Aggie Invitational in Bryan, Texas.

The two-day tournament will be played on the Ohio State Scarlet Course Saturday and Sunday. The course is a par-71, 7,455 yard course with 11 schools competing.

The Flashes will be competing against Ball State, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Miami (Ohio), Minnesota, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Xavier.

Kent State will look for another strong performance from John Hahn who led the team last week who had rounds of 74, 76 and 75 for a combined score of 225. He was tied for 24th place for the tournament.

After this week’s tournament, Kent State look to capture the MAC Championship, which will be held in Maineville, Ohio April 29 and 30.
