Faculty Senate passed all items on their agenda Monday afternoon.

The establishment of an Experiential Learning Requirement was voted on and approved after the proposal failed in October. This requirement will only affect incoming freshmen.

The senate approved the establishment of an independent, interdisciplinary School of Digital Sciences along with Digital Sciences majors and master’s degrees.

It also passed changes to the University Policy Regarding Plagiarism.

A revision to the General Academic Forgiveness Policy for undergraduates also passed.

The senate established a new dual degree program between Instructional Technology majors within the Master of Education degree and the Master of Library Science degree.

It passed the establishment of an Enology major and a Viticulture major within the Associate of Applied Science degree at the Ashtabula campus.

It also established a Hospitality Management major within the Bachelor of Science degree at the Ashtabula and Kent campuses.
