Early childhood education students hold gallery event

The College of Education hosted the Gallery of Preschool Student Teaching Thursday in on the fourth floor of White Hall.
The event took place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and showcased the research projects of early childhood education students in the second block of their learning, primarily sophomores and juniors.
In their second semester of the early childhood education program, students are required to student teach in a preschool. The gallery event displayed student research findings from their individual experiences.

“These students are doing teacher action research, looking at ways they can impact the classroom, sort of a continuous improvement model of making the classroom a better place all the time,” said Wendy Bedrosian, assistant professor of early childhood education.
