Dining Services celebrates a Noche Caliente
November 10, 2010
Students can get a taste of Latino food and culture tonight at Eastway from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
Carne asada, glazed balsamic plantains and dry rubbed chicken sauté with sweet red chili sauce are among the items on the evening’s menu, said Tia Marie Protopapa, Dining Services marketing specialist, in an e-mail.
DJ Ruckkus will provide music for the event, and SALSA will be there to teach students more about Latin American culture.
SALSA President Kaley Alvarado said the group will teach students dances such as salsa, meringue and bachata.
