Kent State names dean of College of Public Health

Kent State today named Mark James, professor of tropical medicine at Tulane University, as its new dean of the College of Public Health.
James received his bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Wisconsin in 1972 and his master’s and doctorate degrees in zoology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1975 and 1979.
He has taught at the University of Illinois and Tulane University and is Chair of the Biomedical Institutional Review Board for the Tulane University Health Sciences Center.
