Delta Sigma Pi to hold information nights
February 2, 2010
Delta Sigma Pi, a professional coed fraternity, kicked off this Monday with information nights and events open to all business majors.
“Our recruiting events are great to attend because students get to see us in action, and it is a way to get to know the recruits,” recruiting Officer Ceola Miller said. “It not only gives students a chance to hear about our organization, but to learn what the expectations are before they fill out an application.”
Students planning to pledge have to pay a pledging fee of $130, be a business major, be a full-time Kent student with a minimum of 15 credit hours and have at least a 2.5 GPA.
“We are looking for students with diversity, energy and those who can bring new ideas to the table to make our organization better,” Annie McDonnell, president of Delta Sigma Pi said.
Information nights will be held tonight and Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Business Administration Building. Additional sessions will be held tomorrow and next Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. in the Governance Chambers in the Student Center. Students are required to dress professionally.
