Students can help plan new May 4 visitors center
March 31, 2009
Students can offer input on the design for the new May 4 Visitors Center at 5 p.m. today in Room 205 of Oscar Ritchie Hall.
Students who attend the public forum can look over possible layouts for the center and offer suggestions on each of the six designs.
The center, which is expected to open in time for the 40th anniversary in 2010, will be located in Taylor Hall, facing the May 4 Memorial.
The university is also holding the forum to learn what students would like to see the center accomplish and what theme should be illustrated.
Those who cannot attend today’s forum can stop by the Kent community forum tomorrow at 7 p.m. at McKay Bricker Gallery and Framing downtown. Both meetings will last about an hour, and refreshments will be provided.
