April 12, 2009
Students interested in deciding how to spend the undergraduate programming budget can apply for a position on the undergraduate allocations committee.
More than 200 student groups on campus rely on the committee to allocate funding for various activities including concerts, comedians and midnight movies.
Students can pick up the one-page application outside the Undergraduate Student Government offices or the Center for Student Involvement. Both are in the Student Center.
Students must maintain a 2.25 GPA and attach a résumé and a written statement to the application to be eligible for a position.
According to the application, the committee is looking for a student who is open-minded, unbiased and diverse.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday to the CSI office. A time stamp is required.
All those who are eligible will be asked to interview the week following the application deadline.
