Anti-War Committee protest to urge students to be active
September 28, 2008
The Kent State Anti-War Committee will protest today to remind students about the wars – and that they have a voice.
The group will meet at 4 p.m. in Risman Plaza for a rally, featuring several speakers from the group. At 4:30 p.m., they will begin their march to front campus, passing by the ROTC building, member Yvette Coil wrote in an e-mail.
“We are having the protest to remind students the wars are still going on and they have a voice and can be active in their opposition, despite the economic woes and presidential election,” she wrote.
