Sen. John McCain has chosen Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska, as his running mate.

Palin, 44, has served as Alaska’s governor for the last two years.

McCain will officially make the announce at noon in Dayton, Ohio from the Wright State University campus where he is holding a rally.
