Final USG application deadline is today

The deadline to submit candidate applications for Undergraduate Student Government elections is today at 5 p.m. Applications are to be turned in at the Student Organizations offices at the Student Center.
Undergraduate Student Government will be comprised of 25 positions, 16 more than its Undergraduate Student Senate predecessor.
At USS’s Wednesday meeting, executive director Katie Hale said that 40 applications had been received for the new positions.
As of Wednesday, several positions including undergraduate studies senator, College of Technology senator and College of Architecture senator had not yet received applicants. She also said several director positions are currently uncontested.
Campaigning will officially begin Feb. 12 with elections taking place March 10 and 11.
