February 11, 2008
Undergraduate Student Senate is extending the deadline for application submissions for its upcoming Undergraduate Student Government election until Friday at 5 p.m.
“We didn’t have enough applicants,” said USS executive director Katie Hale, who held an emergency meeting Saturday to discuss the application deadline.
Thursday, Hale said USS had received 40 applications. The election is scheduled to take place March 10 and 11.
Positions that have not received applicants include senator for the College of Technology, senator for the College of Communication and Information and director of community affairs. Students can apply for any of the 25 positions.
