Recognized musician to perform at KSU

An internationally recognized musician and professor will visit Kent State University today.
Jiggs Whigham, a solo trombonist and artistic director of Germany’s Berlin Jazz Orchestra, will hold a class in the Music and Speech Center’s Ludwig Recital Hall at 1 p.m.
Whigham will perform with the university’s Jazz Ensemble I in the recital hall at 8 p.m. The concert is open to the public at no cost.
