Eckels wants more interaction with administration

As senator for student relations candidate, Elizabeth Eckels would want to create more opportunities for students and administration to come together.

She said she wants to continue “Coffee with the President” and would like to start a “Lunch with Lefton” program so students have more chances to talk with him.
In addition, she said would like to start a “virtual Presidents’ Roundtable” so presidents of student organizations can share ideas any time they want.
Eckels said she would also like the Community Task Force to become involved with freshman orientation so students are given a chance to get involved with the community as soon as they begin attending Kent State.
Eckels has been involved with the Undergraduate Student Senate before, serving on the Allocations Committee. She is the president of the Financial Management Association and has served on the Business Presidents’ Roundtable, the Student Athletic Advisory Board, the Homecoming Committee and business fraternity Delta Sigma Phi.
