Harry Potter Mania will start at 8 p.m. today, tomorrow and Thursday in the lower lounge of Eastway Center.

University Dining Services and Kent Student Center Programming are sponsoring the event to celebrate the opening of the fourth movie in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The movie opens in theaters this Friday.

“I know people really like (Harry Potter),” said Stacy Stewart, Kent Student Center Programmer. “We’re expecting a lot of people to come.”

Each night, a different movie in the series will be shown in the lounge on a big screen, Stewart said. Goodies, including jelly beans, cookies and drinks will be provided.

Movie tickets for opening night, boxed sets of the Harry Potter DVDs and books will be given away throughout the week. The lounge will also be decorated in colors of the different houses from the books.
