Current and bound periodicals, including popular magazines and newspapers, can now be checked out from the library for one day.

Periodicals checked out of the library are due by closing of the following day.

Before this change in policy, periodicals could only be taken out on loan for a few hours and with special permission.

Circulation manager Bob Gray said the change was made to provide better service to students.

“We wanted to provide a consistent equal benefit to our users,” he said.

Secured periodicals and newspapers will continue to be non-circulating.
