The annual medieval celebration of the Yuletide Feaste will be at 6 p.m. today through Saturday in the Student Center Ballroom. The Feaste has entertained students and residents of Kent for over 30 years.

Highlighting the event will be the largest chorale Kent State has ever had, with about 50 students in it.

“They will just blow you away,” said Jon Harper, assistant director of the Student Center. “It’s a wonderful evening.”

Today and Thursday a chicken dinner will be served, and on Friday and Saturday it will be beef.

The chorale will be singing some of the same songs they did at last year’s Feaste along with new ones, said Ryan Patterson, sophomore music education major.

“I enjoy being in it,” Patterson said. “It’s one of the things I look forward to, being in chorale. We usually sell out every seat.”

They have been practicing in the Feaste for about four weeks, he said.

Guests can look forward to two and a half hours of music, food and even jugglers, Harper said.
