A man attempted to rob the Arby’s Roast Beef Restaurant at 1630 E. Main St. at about 7:10 last night, according to the Kent Police Department.

The robbery was unsuccessful and there were no injuries. Police said the suspect was thin, white and in his 40s.

He entered the store and announced he was going to rob it, according to police. He then fled the scene on foot.

The incident is still under investigation, and no further details were available.

Arby’s employees could not be reached for comment.
