Professor to talk about weavings
Janice Lessman-Moss, School of Art professor, will present Origins and Synthesis, a lecture on her weavings and work, 7 p.m. tonight at the Murphy Auditorium in Rockwell Hall.
Lessman-Moss will lecture on her work from the past 10 years. A slideshow presentation will accompany the lecture to show the process of her weavings.
“The lecture should allow the audience to gain a better understanding of how a work is made and the thought process behind it,” Lessman-Moss said. “It’s insightful to how I think and work during the process.”
Lessman-Moss’ weavings are currently on display in the Kent State University Museum in Rockwell Hall.
